This tour offers seven days of full immersion into the land, the culture and the traditions of our First Nations people in the NT western desert. You will meet the locals, including elders and traditional owners of the land you are staying on and enjoy a community BBQ one evening. You will visit local Arts Centres and Walk a While’s Creative Technologies Centre to see first-hand the wonderful creativity of the local people. You will participate in cultural activities with Indigenous guides – bush tucker tours, storytelling and more. Traveling in air-conditioned 4-WD vehicles, you will visit some of the most remote and spectacular locations our country has to offer, witness a glorious desert sunrise and sunset from the summit of Memory Mountain – all while soaking up the pure, clean desert air.
