On this tour you will be accompanied by a professional photographer for eight days of immersion into the land, the culture and the traditions of our First Nations people in the NT western desert. You will meet the locals, including Elders and Traditional Owners of the land you are staying on and enjoy a community BBQ one evening. You will visit local Arts Centres and Walk a While’s Creative Technologies Centre to see first-hand the wonderful creativity of the local people. You will participate in cultural activities with Indigenous guides – bush tucker tours, storytelling and more. Travelling in air-conditioned 4-WD vehicles, you will visit some of the most remote and spectacular locations our country has to offer, witness glorious desert sunrises and sunsets and even do some Astro photography. As part of a small group (max 8 participants) you will be assured of receiving plenty of attention from your instructor. This mix of landscape and portrait shoots will delight keen photographers of all skill levels.
