Individual Giving

Walk a While Foundation & Memory Mountain Ltd rely largely on the generosity of individual and corporate donors to fund our work of serving and equipping Indigenous Australians. In some remote Indigenous communities, we have people living in appalling conditions, well below the poverty line. This is a shame on our nation, but you can help to turn the tide.

Connection to land is extremely important to our First Nations people. By supporting the work of Walk a While & Memory Mountain through a tax-deductible gift, you are helping to create meaningful employment for people within their own communities so they don’t have to move off-country to find work.

Please be assured that every dollar you donate goes right to where it’s needed. No Directors fees are paid (all Directors give their time voluntarily) and our administration costs are negligible.

  • You can give a one-time, tax deductible gift via credit card.
  • You can set a recurring payment via credit card. 
  • You can donate your tax deductible gift by EFT via your online banking App.
  • You can set up a regular weekly or monthly gift through your online banking App.
All donations of $2 or more to Memory Mountain Limited are tax deductible and your tax receipt will be issued promptly. On behalf of the communities we serve, we thank you for your generosity. We look forward to sharing with you the positive impact of your donation.

Corporate Giving

We are extremely thankful for the companies who donate cash, goods and services to help with our work in remote Indigenous communities and we are keen to hear from other organisations who are willing to partner with us. Areas in which we are looking for partners include:

  • NGOs and Charities with an interest in Indigenous welfare and/or creative media.
  • Registered Training Organisations with experience in remote communities.
  • Vehicle supply and hire companies and those experienced in vehicle maintenance.
  • Volunteers with experience in property maintenance or other trades.
  • Educators with experience in developing curricula for remote communities.
  • Supplilers of music & recording equipment.
  • Film makers with a passion for using digital media for community development.
  • Travel services, hotels and transport providers.
